The FAM Oakland is a space for the community to convene, heal and engage in freedom of cultural expression, food, art and music. The FAM Oakland has secured ownership of a multifunctional community hub in the heart of East Oakland, serving as a safe space for those most impacted by the COVID-19 health crisis and the economic fallout.
Our mission is to serve the community and provide a platform and resources for the arts, artists and art education. We feed the community free hot meals. We feature rotating culinary artists and showcase the arts through exhibits and performances. Our goal is to feed the soul through the arts and good food. Our services are centered around impacting the needs of the community and creating solutions.

The FAM Oakland offers a versatile coworking space complete with essential amenities like large desks, high-speed Wi-Fi, presentation tools, and complimentary refreshments. For events, our flexible venue provides sound and stage equipment, bar facilities, kitchen, and photography equipment for any occasion.
Our in-house Art Gallery displays local artwork and offers unique gifts for purchase. Doubling as a space for yoga, dance, or rehearsals, we are a vibrant hub for community creativity and cultural expression.
