Art Walk in The Melrose

The FAM Oakland presents The Melrose Art Walk April 6th 2024 from 11-6 pm 5327 Fairfax Ave Oakland CA 94601 between Foothill Blvd. and Bancroft Ave. A community block party featuring live music and performers, food vendors and demos, art exibits and art activities. Paint a picture, make a hat, learn print press, make your own original design, hand painted hats and clothing, fashion show and hair show highlighting local designers and buisnesses in The Melrose District of Oakland CA. The FAM Oakland is Food Art Music Inc and we are a community event space in East Oakland that provides a safe space for the community to convene and engage and create. We provide a free platform to showcase local Culinary artists, fine artists and musical artists to perform, join healing art workshops, food cooking classes and demos as well as music workshops, enrichment after school programs, gift shop selling local artists product and we serve the community giving away free food and gently used clothing .
